Once your seat height is set, take a seat on the bike. Place the pedals so that the cranks are parallel to the floor and the pedal that’s forward is at 3 o’clock. Once in the position, take a look at your knee that’s forward and make sure it creates an imaginary line directly from your knee over your midfoot. If your knee is too far forward and past your toes, you will need to move your seat back. If your knee is too far back and above your heel, then you will need to move your seat forward. Once you find the sweet spot, take note of the number underneath the seat so it’s easy to adjust your bike next time and tighten the knob.
